Water: The World’s Most Precious Resource

January 10th, 2012 | Posted by orens in leak detection

leaky plumbingScientists have been hunting for an earth-like planet for as long as man has gazed into the night sky. Although many promisingly sized planets have been found in neighboring solar systems, they lack one essential thing: water. They are either too far or too close to their respective suns for liquid water to exist. Thus scientists believe they cannot harbor life (which may or may not be true).

Meanwhile people here on earth are taking water for granted. Millions of dollars’ worth of water is lost to leaky plumbing each year. All the while people in the developing world routinely die of water borne illnesses. It is unfair.

If you are concerned about the well being of your fellow water based life forms (humans, fish, plants, everything on earth), you should do your part to conserve water. Leaking water is costly to you and a slap in the face to all of earth’s 7 billion plus members. Do you suspect you are draining earth of her aquatic life blood? If so, call a leak detection service. They can help you find the problem and root it out. Also, if so inclined, give to a clean water charity such as The Clean Water Fund.
